Norman Bates for France Parkinson

Daringly emotional, poetically profound, and subtly crafted—Norman Bates tackles the side effects of Parkinsons head on in their new ad for France Parkinson. “We worked with two dancers (66 and 69 years of age) and our choreographer Julien Ramade to craft a minimalist choreographic landscape in which she is controlled by her disease (personified by her husband). It is a poetic interpretation of what Parkinsons can do to people.”

Shot by their close friend and collaborator Bjorn Charpentier, they only had one shoot day in Paris to pull the film off. Warning: this piece can melt even the strongest of hearts and put a tear or two in your eye. You can check the film out below. For more of Norman Bates's work you can view their full reel here.
